company name full time adventurer

I’m Manuel, passionate about travels and adventures.

I spent the last 7 years of my life travelling around the world out of a backpack. I’ve been to over 100 countries across 7 continents and I’ve had any sort of good and bad experience.

My wanderlust has taken me to releasing baby turtles in Mexico, crossing snow covered peaks under northern lights in Svalbard, playing football on the runway in Tuvalu, feeding lion cubs in South Africa,
hiking an active volcano in Guatemala.

I took never ending bus rides, flew upside down on a Russian aircraft, almost crashed on a
hot air balloon in Laos, went to the least visited country in the world, Nauru, did an amazing safari in
Swaziland, and so much more.

I tend to travel where most travellers don’t go, so if places like Siberia, Timor-Leste, Papua New Guinea
or Kiribati make you dreaming of a new adventure, I am here to tease you to go for it and help you plan
your next itinerary.

Why full time adventurer?

I see travelling as an adventure, but being an adventurer means a bit more than just travelling. It’s living new experiences, constantly fuelling up the adrenaline level, going out of the comfort zone. It is discovering new everything, cultures, people… it’s trying any type of food, from a black tarantula at a local market in Cambodia to a jellyfish at one of the most famous restaurant in the world in Copenhagen.

So in this website I’ll give you travel tips, suggest you itineraries and destinations. I’ll take you with me to some of my best adventures I had, from doing an aerobatic flight in Australia to paragliding in Macedonia, from attending the full moon party in Thailand and tubing in Vang Vieng, to admiring hidden waterfalls in Lesotho and diving with hammerhead sharks in the Galapagos.

Life before Traveling

But was my life always like this? Hell no!

Before I turned 18 I had never heard the word backpacking, was worried about everything, super picky
about food, used to my comfort and not interested in discovering anything new. And life was proceeding alright, even though I felt I was missing something.

Then I started to grow up, moved abroad for university and started to enjoy life a bit more. Spent a few years living abroad in Prague, Barcelona, Cyprus and Copenhagen, studying and working, having fun, running a pub crawl, drinking and partying. And life was great! But I still felt it wasn’t enough.

Then I moved to Bangkok for an exchange semester at university, and that’s the turning point I needed. I completely discovered a new world. I left a few months before Uni started, went backpacking for the first time, slept in hostels and lived out of a backpack. And it was amazing. I realized that was the beginning of something. I loved backpacking and travelling, and I wanted to go a step beyond the typical backpacker in South East Asia. I wanted to go the most remote and untouched areas of this planet, try any type of local food, pump my adrenaline up with any sort of activity.

In short, I wanted to go all in for an adventurous life! And I did it!

I dream to visit every remote corner of this planet, fly on any type of plane, do the craziest experiences, meet the most untouched tribes, and I could go on forever.

I can’t say whether I will be able to reach this dream or at least part of it, but being a full time adventurer means I will be always chasing more adrenaline, planning the next trip and crossing something new off my bucket list, because eventually it’s not the final goal that matters, but the journey to reach it.
